TypeBeatFinder in 60 seconds

  1. Install itRun the installer from your download. If Windows shows a blue warning, click More info → Run anyway.
  2. Add your keyPaste a free YouTube API key once. The app walks you through it in about 2 minutes.
  3. SearchType an artist, pick a style and a BPM range, hit Search.
  4. ListenClick a beat. It plays, then the next one. Skip intros, loop 8 bars on the part you like.
  5. Keep the bestHit Save or drop it into a Folder for your song.
  6. Get the beatUse Download or BeatStars to get it from the producer. Then go write. 🎤

Read this before you buy

  • Windows 10 / 11 only. No Mac version right now.
  • You need a free YouTube API key (a Google account is enough). About 100 searches a day for free.
  • The app does not rip audio from YouTube. Download only opens links the producer shared. Respect the producer's terms – "free for profit" is not the same as "free for demos".
  • YouTube ads may still play, because the beats play through YouTube's own player.
